Yesterday I got a paper to read, and, I checked it was created with a word template and some sort of pdf printer. The problem of this doc was the fonts, that were weird, maybe because the pdf printer did not included the original fonts, and evince display the paper but with other font type, umconfortable to read. So, the command to fix it is here, and is just to install the Windows fonts, writing in a new console window:
sudo apt-get install msttcorefonts
